Introduction

International Logistics describes the movement of goods and services among firms in multiple countries. This course will concentrate on the unique aspects of international transactions. The course will use a mix of lecture and cases. The cases, which will be drawn from a number of sources, will give students an opportunity to apply class lessons to real world situations.

Grading Policy

• Individual case write-up: 30% (Anderson Telecom Case)
  • Collaboration is forbidden on the individual case write-up (i.e. no discussion or sharing of information among students).
• Two team write-ups: 40% (20% for Florida Citrus Case, 20% for Beneton Case)
• Team questionnaire on Regional Uniqueness of Logistics: 5%
• Class participation: 25%
