Chemical Engineering Design Online

Welcome to the home page for course materials associated with the Design Curriculum in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This page is the entry point to a set of prototypical modules designed to take advantage of the fast-evolving hypermedia capabilities of the World Wide Web. The modules represent self-contained, independent-study supplements to lectures and other materials provided in the conventional classroom setting. For more information about the history of this project, browse through our background information. Modules are currently being developed for course at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Select Materials Design for supplementary course materials used in 10.491 Integrated Chemical Engineering Design: Materials Design Module.
