Updates for 12/10/02:
Mission Complete!
I have been doing quite a bit since the last update. When we split into our solutions groups, I was put in logging. Even though I had recently started with that topic (see last update), I was interested in finding a solution. Much of what I intended on putting in this solution was how to build logging roads so that less erosion and pollution occurred. Also, I also compiled some Logging Characterization that would help us with finding a solution. I also began a solution regarding the logging roads which includes useful links.
Also, for our group site, I have
been updating the Archives
page for Rain 8.

New format of website! It
should be easier to read and understand!

In the Background info page, it will include information that I had found
from long before and never posted.
Also, the information
that had been on this index site is now on an Archive
Site.
Other updates:
I had found
some interesting sites and skimmed them over to get a vague idea regarding
ranching. Then Liz
was assigned ranching. So, I sent the links to her, and she seems
to have derived quite a bit of useful information from them.
Also, some information I have found
was not able to be added to the background information page because I could
not find the source from which they came.
Also, my task has come down to
logging. Much of the useful information on logging can actually be
found on one of my colleagues' sites. Click here
