  • The people- kick off island
    • motivation- preservation of the environment
  • research station contained, either on land or water
    • researchers still allowed to research on island and stay as long as not affect ecosystem
  • restrict tourism to certain areas and only stay on boat
• Puerto Ayora:
  • considered moving to Baltra, but unfeasible
  • restrict construction
    • especially none outside the current city
  • tourism restricted to certain courses, cut down on tourists, made only through gov't
• everything imported, no domestic production, waste exported
• Wind energy- not hurt nature
