Portable Systems in the Galapagos

Problem:

We need a way to provide fresh water, supplies, and basic medical care to the islands of the Galapagos. It would be possible to remodel existing facilities to make them more enviromentally friendly and cost-effective, but this process might be too expensive and might not lead to a good enough environmental solution.

Proposed Solution:

We develop a portable system for these basic needs. This system would take the form of a boat. The boat would centrally serve the purpose of desalinization, with capabilities of a basic medical clinic (i.e. shots, checkups, basicbasicbasic things) onboard, as well as other facilities as we think them up. The desalinization process on the boat would be designed efficiently, so that enough water for a certain decent amount of time could be desalinated in one stop and pumped into holding tanks on the island.
