POPULATION STATISTICS
OF FLOREANA
The
island of Floreana is home to approximately 80 inhabitants. Forty-five
persons live
in Puerto Velasco Ibarra and others are dispersed throughout the
highlands.
Only 15 of these were actually born on the island. However, these brief
statistics do little to exemplify the rich history of the inhabitants
of the
Galapagos, especially Floreana, which is of noteworthy importance.
