This book explains the steps taken to communicate to the population the dangers of an oncoming tsunami. The broad cast on all commercial radio stations and the use of the Civil Defense to evacuate certain areas is promptly implemented. Special road signs mark evacuation routes and the telephone books contain maps of areas in danger of tsunami flooding. Regarding ocean vessels, it is recommended that they set to sea where damage by the waves is avoided.
