Grading Policy
40% - 2 or more quizzes
20% - Final exam
15% - Class participation and oral communication
25% - Weekly homework. However, it is most important that you turn it in, even if late. Discussion of how to do problems is permitted, but then you must write up and do your own work. Students are expected to make weekly presentation of individually assigned homework problems.

The lectures will correspond to most of Chapters 1 through 8 followed by selected topics from Chapters 9, 10, and 14.
