    Announcements:
      02/08/06:
    • Email was sent to test the current registration list. If you are not supposed to be on this list, reply to be removed.
    • Jenny will start holding office hours in the common area of Building 33. Remember to fill out the lab sign-up form by next week.
    • Just to reiterate the change to the sign-ups, MWF slots for labs are 9:30-12:00, 2:00-4:30, 4:30-7, and 7-9:30.

    • Please e-mail Jenny with your lab schedule preferences ASAP.
    • Homework has been posted. See the calendar or problem set page.

    • If you haven't done so, submit lab preferences to Jenny.
    • PS1 handout has been updated. If you have the first version, problem 2 "Assuming the transfer function given in part (e)..." should read "... given in part (c)"
    • Please read sections 8.1-8.4 for Friday.
    • Please contact Dr. Paduano if you did not get the e-mail titled "Test of 16.30 reg list"

      02/17/06:
    • Jenny's office hours will be held Monday 7-9pm this week only.
    • Homework due Tuesday in class. Please submit each problem on a separate sheet.

      02/21/06:
    • Additional office hours: Dr. Paduano M4-6, Vincent T11-1
    • Labs will begin this Friday (Feb-24). Schedule is posted under Labs.
    • New lecture notes, problem set, and problem set solutions are posted.

      02/23/06:
    • Dr. Paduano office hours today are from 5-6 only. He will be available late Friday afternoon and M4-6.
    • Additional students have been added to lab schedule. Let us know if you are not signed for a lab ASAP (especially if you have not added the class yet).

      02/27/06:
    • Remember to attend your assigned lab session, which is held in Dr. Paduano's office.
    • Problem set hand-in is Tuesday (02/28) at 5 pm outside of 33-412 (i.e. Julie Finn's Office).

      03/08/06:
    • Quiz 1 is this Friday (03/10) during lecture. Scope is inclusive of the last lecture before the quiz. Remember from lecture what resources you are allowed to bring.
    • Dr. Paduano is holding marathon office hours: Wed 4-7, Thurs 8:30-12, 1:30-3, and 5-6
    • Problem Set 3 solutions are posted.

      03/14/06:
    • Quanser Labs start this Friday. Verify your lab time under "labs." Remember to complete the pre-lab assignment prior to working on the lab.
    • Please note that Jenny's office hours are now Su M 7-9pm.
    • Quiz 1 solutions and Problem Set 4 are posted.

      03/15/06:
    • Quanser Labs start this Friday. Verify your lab time under "labs." Remember to complete the pre-lab assignment prior to working on the lab.
    • There are corrections to the Quanser Lab handout. Download the new handout or read the errata under "labs."

      04/03/06:
    • Quiz 2 will be held on April 14, Friday, during lecture.
    • The two main topics covered on the quiz are digital/discrete control and state space.
    • Homework 5 and the Learning Objectives & Practice Problems for material covered on the quiz are posted.

      04/23/06:
    • Please note changes to the lecture topic schedule.
    • Lab 2 will not be held this week. The first lab session will be held on May 5.

    • Lab 2 sessions are going to be held Friday, Monday and Tuesday. We are expecting the same turn out as Lab 1. If you wish to reschedule, please let us know.
