Updated 11/18/08:

A revised solution set for the Materials portion of Pset 10 has been posted. This revised solution corrects a few small errors made in the calculation of the principal stresses (part 2) as well as the answers that stem from those calculations. Please refer to the updated version when studying for the quiz tomorrow.

The solutions to Pset 7 have been posted.

 

Updated 10/15/08:

All of the links for Pset 6 and the solutions for Pset 5 have been fixed.

 

Updated 10/10/08:

The links for the cover sheet for Pset 6 and for the solution to T8 are non functional at the current time, due to technical difficulties. They will be available as soon as possible.

 

Updated 10/7/08:

The fluids problem statement for Pset 5 has been updated. Please refer to this new version when doing your problem set for this week.

 

Updated 9/23/08:

The Fluids math review, as well as lecture notes through F10, have been posted under the Fluids section of the website.

 

Updated 9/15/08:

Pset 2 includes two M&S problems, which have now been uploaded to the website. Please download these problems, as they will be due on Friday. Also, make sure to include information about time spent on these problems on your time sheets- simply writing it on the current version of the time sheet will be sufficient.

Systems problem 2 has now been posted. Let us know if you have trouble geting to it.

 

Updated 9/10/08:

The fluids lecture topics have been shifted by a day to incorporate Professor Lozano's lecture on surface tension. Note that they have not changed, just been pushed back a day, so if you already printed the lecture notes for today, you do not need to reprint them for tomorrow.

There have been a few changes made to the course facts, please download and look over sections 3 and 5 for the new information.

The first problem set has been posted. Please download both the problem set and the cover sheet, as you will need to turn in both.

The website is currently undergoing major updates for the current semester, thanks for sticking with us while we work on getting this up to date.

The materials, thermodynamics, fluids, systems problems, course staff, schedule, unified concepts, and course facts are up to date. The signals and systems page is still under construction until further notice.

An email notice will be sent and an announcement posted when the first problem set is posted.

The first systems problem is posted, and available for download.
