    This is a test of the 18.337 mailing list.

    If you wish your name removed from this list any time just
    let me know.

    It was popularly agreed by all but two people that lecture
    3 was way too fast for people who did not have the right
    background, and that lecture 4 was far more reasonable.
    If you ran away scared, this is a good time to come back.

    Thursday's lecture is on HPF. In the audience will
    be the person from Digital responsible for their HPF
    compiler.

    I will try my best to answer questions on the
    web-meet, but please feel free to respond if you
    know the answer. This is better than direct
    email to me (which you are welcome to do
    if you have a more "personal" message)
    because everyone benefits.
