    I'm having some difficulty understanding the details of p. 15.

    First, the domain. Is it *any* 2 by 1 rectangular region?

    Second, the discretization. Is N the total number of points?
    Or is it the number of points along the 1 unit long dimension
    of the rectangular region? (I don't see a clever way to regularly
    cover a 2 by 1 region with 11 points, but with 22 rows of 11 points,
    I can see.)

    Also, in general how are people approaching this? (eg, what language?
    what libraries/packages?)
