Final Presentation Invitation
The students and staff of MIT's 2.009 Product Engineering Processes class invite you to participate in the exciting, scintillating launch of 8 new product prototypes, developed by student teams, all focused around the theme "rough, tough, and messy!". Rough implies hardship. Tough means difficult, and Messy is dirty, or convoluted and confusing.
Monday, December 12, 2016
MIT Kresge Auditorium
Presentations 7:30 PM sharp-10:00 PM
Reserved seating until 7:15 PM
Tickets for the general public are available via lottery. Please use the RSVP system to enter the lottery. There will be tickets lotteries on Friday, December 2, Tuesday, December 6, and Thursday December 8. If you obtain a spot via lottery, you will be emailed and you must confirm if you plan on attending or not. There are also standby ticket and alternative viewing options.
You are enthusiastically encouraged to invite other colleagues, friends, and family by generating an invitation for them or adding them as your personal guests through the RSVP website. A limited number of tickets for professionals in the product design industry are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are a design professional but did not receive an invitation email, please register for the general public lottery and indicate your design firm affiliation. Once we verify your affiliation, we will send you a link to complete your RSVP, if these tickets are still available.
When you RSVP (yes or maybe), we will make a nametag for you that will also serve as your ticket for reserved seating. You will pick up your nametag/ticket at Kresge Auditorium when you arrive for the presentations. Seats within the auditorium are not assigned.
During the presentations, guests are invited to review products and provide feedback to the student teams via forms provided at the event. This is a valued part of the educational experience. So, too, is the reception that follows at Kresge, where you can mingle with students and friends and try out the actual products at team booths.
We hope to see you there!
