The 3-ideas poster presentations are scheduled during class.

Your section should have one, two, or three presenters prepared to give less than one-minute summaries of the ideas. An equal amount of time should be devoted to each idea.

A three-minute time limit will be strictly enforced for each section...so if one presenter uses all three minutes for one idea, there will be no time to present the other ideas from your section!

Please make sure your section's posters and presenters arrive 10 minutes before the start of class. If you can be 15 minutes early it would be even better. We will be mounting the posters on the walls around the classroom so that presentations will commence at 1:05 PM sharp. We will provide the mounting materials but please be prepared to help with the poster hanging process.

Some Presentation Tips:

The presenter should not read the poster! Viewers will already see everything on the poster... the presenter should augment the visual information with speech. Avoid reading cue cards... practice in advance.

Do not emulate a 'used-car salesperson' or TV infomercial... this is not appropriate for our professional context. Be honest and informative.

Good humor is great. However, humor can unintentionally become disrespectful or in bad taste. Be careful!
