Twas the Night Before Presentations
by Jonathon Abbot. 2.009 orange team, 2013
Twas the night before presentations and all through the house
every student was stirring going sleep without
The parts were assembled by the lab bench with care
in hopes that Professor Wallace would soon be there.
The friends and family were nustled all snug in their beds,
while visions of rainbow teams danced in their head,
And some dreamed of watching 2.009 on webcast,
cause boston's too far to see our products at last.
When out on kresge there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the lab to see what was the matter
Away to Mass ave I flew like a flash,
almost ran the red light and nearly did crash.
The moon on the breast of to be fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to Kresge below
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but an illuminated kresge and eight amazing rainbow reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it wasn't just st. nick
More rapid than eagles wearing shorts in the snow,
And he smiled and shouted and said now let's go!
Now Orange, now Purple, now Red and then Blue,
On Green and on Silver, on Yellow and Pink too!
To the top of the kresge, to the top of the dome,
now dash away, dash away, dash away home!
