You can install SolidWorks on your own PC by downloading it from the MechE server.

The MechE clusters, the fishbowl, and the 2.009 Pappalardo lab computers are running the newest version of SolidWorks, 2012-2013.

If you work in the newest version, you will not be able to open your files in an older version of SolidWorks. For this reason, we recommend that you install the 2012-2013 version for your own computer.
