The tiles that the players find on the ground have a stone-like texture but are light enough to handle easily and have an internal magnetic-NFC mechanism that latches onto the wall in the correct position. To self-reset, the small slates simply drop off the wall onto the ground.
The column is a greco-roman style that gives away nothing about it being an exit (there may even be more in the room and another clue on the slates). The column is definitely heavy and requires a decent amount of strength if the players want to escape together, so they may need to figure out how to all get out!
Once in place, all of the tiles begin to glow green, revealing the secret message hidden by the last prisoner. Use the clue to find the exit!
