Atlas Time Entry Human-Use Analysis
by Elizabeth
Introduction

Who it is intended for:
Atlas is intended for anyone who is an hourly MIT employee which includes students, support staff and service staff. To create better tailored instructions Atlas has created how to guides for:
- Time Entry for Support Staff
- Time Entry for Campus Police
- Time Entry for Other Service Staff
- Time Entry for Students
Atlas Time Entry is also used by Time Approvers, Time Administrators, and Distribution Reviewers who can access timesheets for their authorized Time Groups on the Atlas Manage People tab, under Time Sheets.
What functions it is intended to provide:
This website allows hourly MIT employees to enter time sheets, review time information, and submit their hours to their Approver. Hourly MIT employees must complete and have their timesheets approved in order to be paid.
Desired user experience:
Atlas Time Entry itself does not have a specifically stated desired user experience. However, since it is a mandatory website all hourly employees have to use to be paid, the desired user experience should focus on being quick and easy to use, not stressful, and helping all have a positive experience.
