Guests enter room and see giant gumball machine.
Gumball Machine
Twist Knob
They twist the knob for the coin slot counterclockwise.
Timer
The knob slowly ticks back clockwise. They just activated the timer!
Gumball Released
At the same time, a gumball in released and begins decent down the track.
Track to Exit Chute
There are multiple exit chutes for the gumball on the bottom, connected by complex track system.
Different Color Exits
Each exit hole has different color. Guests realize the colors are the same as the gumballs.
Arranging Tracks
Guests work together to frantically arrange the tracks as the gumball falls, moving them to positions such that the gumball goes through the exit chute with the matching color.
Gumball Exits
The gumball makes it out of the chute door before the timer runs out.
Concept Sketch
Below is the concept sketch we chose to purse for our sketch model. The tracks on the wall are connecteed by circular intersections. Guests adjust the circles to choose the correct path to guide the gumball into the hole with the same color.
