To make the parts for the telegraph, we cut each piece out of wood and then sanded them to the desired size and shape.
We then Covered each part in Bondo in order to create a better surface to paint. This way no wood grain showed through and to helpe create a more realistic finish.. The pieces were then sanded to achive a more desireable painting surface.
All these parts were then glued together to create the majority of the telegram machine.
