Through this model we learned about creating a distinctive and realistic finish on our models. We also were able to learn a lot about the space constraints of having tentacles and ropes in a small space and the problems people will encounter trying to avoid the obstacles. We wanted to make it look old and decrepit - like it had been in a wet dungeon for years. We used an old granite finish and rusted parts of the metal trim to give it the feeling of being old.
