This is a very nice CAD design. The only thing that might not be very clear is how the connections stand at their place. My understanding is that there should be some edges on the building parts that the connections can lean on them. Otherwise, I am not quite sure what would take care of the mass of the connections.

For the lighting part, I think it would also be cool if LED lights can be placed on the surface of the buildings and there will be some wiring in the building blocks so that when they are set up, the lights on the walls turn on which might represent light that can be seen from windows at night.

I think this game is going to be a blast! It looks great and I think the form is well thought out. The pneumatic piston is a good solution to the self resetting problem. I am not sure if it is an issue for you guys, but I think having the little notches for the electrical connections may give away the locations and orientations of some of the blocks to make the buildings since it adds more clues. I might add a bunch of extra circles or features to make sure the users can't figure out which block goes where immediately by matching up the holes for the electrical outlets.

This CAD looks so sick! Right on! I do have a couple of comments:

-I love that the destruction of one tower brings down all the other towers, thats a really nice way to self reset.

-How do you plan on fabricating these parts? Blue foam? Thermoforming? I would have liked to see more on this, since the blocks are supposed to be very large.

-I see how you intend on creating the finish detail, but how do you plan on making the bulk part of the boxes themselves?

As a suggestion, you can add a street and side walk drawing on the floor of the room. This will give the feeling of walking in a city when the players enter the room. You can also add some patterns of cracks on the streets to convey the idea that an earthquake has happened.

The form is nice, it definitely reads as a city. Some comments:

-I wish you had included the rest of the room detail in your rendering. The buildings look nice, but on the blank walls you have pictured it is hard to determine scale as well as overall room cohesion.

-I think your top-view room diagram would read much better if it had been digitally made, its difficult to read.
