I think building something like this at this scale is way outside the scope of a game for this experience. This whole frame is 10ft high and as wide and long as a room - and also a number of the belts are located under the floor? I have some serious concerns about not only the technical challenge of building something like this, but also the soct. Additionally, I think the force required to pull someone across would be really high, unless the system is built with high quality linear bearings.

I would strongly suggest you guys think about a more "passive" system. Can you get away with a static zipline, and people help you by pulling on a rope attached the the bottom of the "seat"? Maybe there are 2 static ziplines, and people have to "kick off each other" to reach the outer walls?

This is a nice mechanism that at a smaller physical scale (for example, tabletop machine) or a larger cost scale (for example, auto manufacturing plant) could very well work, but I don't think it is a good match for the scope of this project.

Good work on the beer belly bounce steering system. I have following comment:

(1) It would have been good to include and replicate the exact steering mechanism as described in the concept refinement page (i.e. show how the small pulley mechanism that would connect to the overall system and the working of the decoupling mechanism that would be engaged when one out of six steering is turned)

(2) Include details of load calculations and pulley transmission mechanism - it is very important to show a high level (not super detailed) engineering analysis.

The mechanics behind the overhead bar motion seem very fleshed out. My concern would be if the friction and added tension from the player's mass on the swing would inhibit the belts from moving. I didn't see if this was sketch modeled, but if not, it may be useful to run some scale tests. Otherwise, I think the player interaction to move the system is straightforward.

Comments on form-related aspects

Reviewer 2:

Good work considering the safety aspect and thinking of designing a decoupling mechanism for the steering wheels.

Suggest you show the major parameter of the steering mechanism system specifically the one with which user will directly interact. For example, what is the maximum speed at which the zipline would travel - this needs to be considered for safety reasons as the users will be using that zipline.
