The telephone plays a key role in finding the clue to escape the museum before the user is caught. It seems like the components such as the front and back pieces of the main phone and the buttons will all be molded and press fitted, like a normal phone. Perhaps instead of "reinventing" the phone, you could use an old phone and play around with the electronics so that the C-A-L-L buttons will actually lead to the audio playing. I'm not sure how hard that is versus creating your own phone, but it will certainly help in reducing time spent fabricating and keeping the phone realistic. What kind of material will you use for the button that will be resistant to wear and tear, especially because the few buttons that are always pressed will wear faster than other buttons. This may lead it to become obvious which buttons to press even without decoding the code. Maybe you can look into the dial phones where you turn the circle around, since those aren't buttons. This will prevent users from knowing the answer simply from how much of the paint has come off.

It looks like a relatively simple design that should be fairly easy to implement

Client 1:

You had a couple of typos in your Project Overview. For example, you typed "the" instead of "they," and "throught" instead of "through." I can still understand what you're trying to say, but you should be careful. If I was a client that paid you for this work, I would be concerned that the typos showed that you weren't invested in doing the work as well as possible.

Also, the telephone rendering looks unfinished - it doesn't have a hand piece.

Reviewer 2:

As the telephone is crucial to the gameplay but you still want a cohesive room design the telephone should strike a balance between noticeable and fitting in with the rest of the props. The illustrator drawing showed the telephone handle itself to be green which could help attract the players. However, the grey/silver base seems out of place and maybe having it match the brown/wood aesthetic of the other props in the room would look nice.

Reviewer 3:

Both the solidworks and illustrator rendering illustrate what the phone will look like well. I'm not sure why you chose the colors, such as green for the handle, but perhaps it goes with the aesthetics of the room? When I imagine an old-fashioned phone, I imagine a black or beige-ish phone, so you might want to reconsider the color scheme after looking at some examples. In the renderings, the handle looks like it is not connected by a wire to the main part with the buttons. I think there should be a wire to mimic the "old-fashioned" phone, but also to ensure that nobody steals the handle. The wire should be short enough so that even if the handle falls off of its holder, it will not hit the ground and break. Again, I am concerned about the wear and tear of the buttons.
