Mystery door storyboard comments

Reviewer 1:

The storyboard is very simple and leaves the team a lot of space to work in. I like the simplicity but good signalling of emotion and reactions in the graphics. THe animation effect is also quite nice. It is a little unclear that they are walking through a door without the title. It kind of looks like they are walking through the wall.

Reviewer 2:

The storyboard isn't as clear as it could be.

Is the door supposed to be a puzzle?

How are people supposed to interact with the door?

If it wasn't for the title, it wouldn't be immediately clear that there is a door there.

It looks like people are walking up to a wall and going through it.

I think it would be more effective if you showed a different angle, with the door closed first, then it opening, and people going through.

The door doesn't have to be as fleshed out as it is in the concept sketches.

Client 3:

All of these door concepts are great!

The issues to watch out for are: - Handicap access.

- Beneath-the-floor storage space - So far, the plan is to build the shows straight onto the concrete, or 3/4" plywood in between.

We can make things go up and out to both sides, but down is very difficult!

The doors that involve a puzzle would be a great addition to the show.

The 'Spherical shell' is unique for sure!

Overall storyboard clarity and presentation

Reviewer 1:

I really like the animation effect. It's like a little movie. The people are emotive and it's fun to watch. The background and colors also add to the clarity and sci-fi feel.

Reviewer 2:

The animation looks great, but I wish that it could also be viewed in a more traditional storyboard with multiple stationary images, so that you could stop and look at each image independently.

Also, on that note some narration would be great.

Great illustrations - very clearly displays what each idea is going for.

Nicely done!
