Quality and thoroughness of human-use analysis and improvement suggestions

Reviewer 1:

I read this more as a user experience analysis of toilets with handles rather than toilets with foot pedal flushes because for the most part, you describe the problems and the experience of having to flush a toilet without a foot pedal. That being said, I thought that there was a good amount of primary research that supported the claim that people generally use their feet to flush and notable reasons why as you explained.

To make this analysis more about the foot pedal flushing mechanism, I think you would have to talk about the current experience of using a foot pedal and the problems that current foot pedals have/how they can be improved.

Reviewer 2:

A necessary problem to address - the ambiguity of use for the existing handle is a challenge. Good framing of the problem. Potentially the proposed solution may encounter difficulty adapting to the toilets on campus, which use a different style of valve.

Reviewer 3:

The analysis is incredibly thorough. Shows the current situation and the problems as well as a detailed solution with an example. Its really well thought out.

Reviewer 4:

This is a unique topic to choose as I had no idea people used their foot to flush the toilets. Kudos to you for choosing this!

I don't think the details of the germs that we can get from the toilet is necessary but that's just my opinion. Personal stories of people getting infected with the germs would have been a better alternative.

The solution looks great! Glad you could find a video that explains the working mechanism.

Clarity and presentation of human-use experience analysis

Reviewer 1:

I would say the website was fairly clear and easy to navigate. There are these white squares at the bottom of the page that sometimes overlap with the text and make it difficult to read. Also, on your introduction page, the text goes past the bottom, but there's no ability to scroll past the bottom, so part of the text is just cut off. Lastly, the page that the site opened up to was actually the experience page and not the intro page, which made it kind of confusing at first.

However, overall, the design was simple, but fitting for the product you were analyzing. There were just some small issues, but those are probably pretty easy to fix up.

Reviewer 2:

For some reason the link opens to the "current experience" page with the shoe, and the user has to click to go to the intro - but great shoe - perhaps the pointy toe is easier for foot flushing?

The website looks simple and easy to read. More visuals could have been used instead of mainly text.
