Quality and thoroughness of human-use analysis and improvement suggestions

Reviewer 1:

In the introduction you did a good job explaining the Keurig brewing system but it was lacking in the intended user experience.

Other than that you did a good job detailing the actual experience and explaining suggestions that you have for how to make the keurig a better product and experience.

Reviewer 2:

Completely reasonable suggestions and discussions for improvement. I appreciate how you thought through what the manufacturer would consider in your recommendations. There were multiple options presented and you gave what you believed to be the best one as your primary recommendation.

Improvements:

1. For the experience you're describing, do I really need to learn more about Keurig and the company impact on the market? I would suggest removing the brand overview section. Although it is interesting, it's not necessarily relevant to the user experience.

2. Make sure you give a proofread over your sections before your publish - there are a few spelling errors and random mistakes words that wouldn't get picked up by spell-check.

Reviewer 3:

You provided a very thorough overview of the product and the pictures included work well to illustrate which features you are discussing. I especially like the inclusion of the video. However I believe that the video could have been used to show a bit more of the use of the product as the majority of what is going on cannot be seen as a viewer. For the final section I believe a sketch of some sort of visual representation of your new design would help make sure that the reader has a clear picture of the potential changes and how it compares to the original product.

Reviewer 4:

The background is done very well and is very thorough. To improve the page, however, it may be better to try to compact certain sections. They seem a bit wordy which can take away from the parts that are meant to be emphasized. It would also be good to see if these corrections and solutions could also be used in other coffee makers rather than just the Keurig B60 Brewer.

Reviewer 5:

I thought this analysis of the Keurig was really thorough and well done. The material is really well formatted in clear sections, and the text is very concise and easy to understand. The use of visual aids, and particularly the video, all work well to support the information in the text and help to illustrate all the points made about the user experience. The in-text links are unobtrusive, helpful, and professional. The analysis is detailed, but doesn't go overboard with minutiae.

Any suggestions are minor improvements. For one, perhaps some quotes by other users could help to support the claims or add new ideas. Second, maybe taking the steps and putting them in a list make it easier to read than in a paragraph.

But mainly, nice job.

Clarity and presentation of human-use experience analysis

Reviewer 1:

The menu is a nice touch, I like being able to go back and forth. It would be nice to have an option at the end of the reading to progress to the next section as I currently have to scroll back up.

Reviewer 2:

Great site overall!

I do think the video on the experience page starts to play (at the bottom of the page) as soon as you load the page. So by the time you get to the bottom of the page, the video is already half way done. Some sort of html update to "not play on page load" would be helpful there.

That video is painstakingly long and boring. I too suffer from holding my reuseable coffee mug at the countertop coffeemaker and it's terrible. Watching a video of someone holding their coffee mug is equally as painful :)

It'd be nice to see the control buttons at the top to see how intuitive the machine is.

Nice job.

Reviewer 3:

I appreciate the consistent style used on each page. All photos were presented well and easy to view. I believe that some of the borders on the picture are a little heavy and initially take away from the picture itself, especially as the pictures are not very big. I like how each of the sections was broken down into easy to understand sections. However on the website itself I would have like a way to navigate to the next page, at the bottom of the current page.

Reviewer 4:

Nice utilization of pictures and videos to get your points across. These help in gaining a clearer understanding in what is going on as well as how to familiarize the audience with the product. Every section is explicitly labeled which makes it very easy to follow and comprehend.

Reviewer 5:

Again, the material is presented in a very professional and clear manner. The clean color scheme is visually appealing, and the navigation is easy and intuitive. Information is grouped in logical ways, and dividers and headings make it easy to understand what is going on and to not get overwhelmed.

My only small recommendation is to make the navigation buttons a little more sophisticated and reflective of the overall clean design.
