Feedback on the concept explored by the sketch model

Client 1:

A lighting effect with liquid can definitely look cool. Rather than using water, is their another fluid you can use that won't grow mold and be more stable. In the past we've used mineral oil for a similar application. With that said, is the Mica powder worth the trouble?

I think LED strips with a light diffuser would work well for your application. Is the swirly effect needed or is it just "nice to have"? I like the video, it helped me understand what was going on.

I like how you thought of various ways of doing the sketch model and gave reasons as to why you chose the decisions that you made based on feedback. I'm a little concerned about the usage of water near electronic mechanisms but as long as it's leak-proof it should be fine (?) It'd be cool to also have a lot of sound effects that go along with the visual effects as well.

Very nice execution of the firework. I like the opacity of the firework cylinder, because it looks almost foggy and smoky as the colors change.

Reviewer 4:

The sketch model tests the feasibility of using Mica powder suspended in water to create a smoke-like effect. Investigation has been performed on both the illumination conditions and on the concentration of powder suspended in the water, and recommendations have been made based on the results from this investigation. Other challenges have also been considered, such as what to do when the powder settles at the bottom, and a potential solution has been proposed, although testing that solution is something left for the future.

Reviewer 5:

I know you mentioned using a heating element, but have you considered using a mixing element to keep the mica powder from settling on the bottom? There are magnetic stir bars you could place inside the rocket, and have the rocket be suspended above a magnetic stir plate. Perhaps you could assign different values to colors to have them match up with the reference color, which could then be used with an Arduino to control the values.
