Reviewer 1:

The description of the sketch models and their purposes are clearly stated. The materials used and manufacturing process are both nicely illustrated. The mannequins help seeing the size of the tunnel. The clips showing neat mechanisms clearly demonstrate how the two models were tested. I wanted to see a clip showing how it looks like inside the tunnel model when rolling. The illusion of rotating the tunnel wall is a very interesting idea, although the wall rolling in one direction does not seem to be realistic. How about swinging the tunnel wall back and forth (like clockwise a bit and then counterclockwise a bit), instead of rotating in one direction? It would make people think the sub is swinging. Some sound effects would enhance the experience. The long hair on the picture is very scary (reminding me of the woman in the horror movie Ring ) and enhancing the tilting sensation, I think. Lessons learned are not clearly stated. Any plans for future work? What is the rationale of the feasibility to finish the work within $800?

Tunnel: I think it's great that you define a user experience to include those who maintain the exhibit. A BOM may be more necessary for a concept implementation over a 3-D model. One concern about the exit tunnel is the real estate cost, but then again it appears that your group has decided to focus on the tilting room. I also wasn't sure how you were able to support your claims for the 5-wits met requirements, like the financial cost, especially after scaling your model up.

Tilting portrait: This seems to work pretty well, perhaps it needs to go more slowly to be believable. I like the hair as a point of vertical reference, but I also think that it's kind of weird to have a wig on a painting. There are probably other types of wall hangings that have dangly parts that serve the same function.

Reviewer 3:

For the one of stand alone models which expresses tilted room, this picture frame controlled by DC servo motor can be a normal idea. I understand this portrait has hair which can indicate the direction of gravity. But what does it mean? Why is that kind of portrait in there? Without the hair, the picture moved by motor can make the same situation. If there were some other kinds of systems, it would be better.

Reviewer 4:

very thorough and informative presentation through the web page. nice incorporation of multimedia in presenting the models. i wonder, however, how realistic it is to have the submarine spinning around the visitors while they remain fixed. perhaps they should spin as well through some limited and safe range of motion? the swinging picture frame effect was nicely executed.
