Reviewer 1:

Interesting concept. I hope it works... I am not completely convinced that you are able to hide the panel. Its pretty obvious in the sketch model, and I hope it is hidden a lot better in the actual. I think this is the challenge that you should tackle first, since I don't think its a trivial problem. The movement of the eye and tentacle, and making it look like a biological organism is also going to be difficult. Overall I think what you are going for is ambitious and difficult. If you pull it off, it will be spectacular! Good luck!

Reviewer 2:

I like the idea of a room being "crushed" by a sea monster. The head/tentacle in the window might be a good effect as well. If you are looking to determine how realistic this attack would feel for people in the room, I would recommend a full-scale room with a porthole like the one you built, and a light source behind the porthole. While the "test subjects" are in the room, you can pass the eye and tentacles by the window. Depending on the water depth during the attack, the lighting outside would probably not be very bright, though, so you may want to consider ways of illuminating the monster from the inside?

I like your concept sketch. You provide a good works like and looks like model. The idea goes well with your team’s storyboard. It seems like this effect would be very effective if done appropriately. Going forward, make sure that you cannot see visible indication of the drop down ceiling before the attack happens. I think having the lights flash makes a good transition. Nice work.
