You created a very effective works-like model that demonstrates your visual effect. I like how you showed the progression through a number of iterations until you arrived at a setup that satisfactorily showed the effect. I wonder if the text is clear enough to project the sample information on your storyboard, where you display Purple spotted squid member of ___ likes ___ dislikes __loud sounds__. Have you thought about simplifying what you display so that it is clearly read on the water sheet? Maybe you can flash up a few words at a time or stream the words like a stock ticker. Either method might build help build suspense and focus the users attention.

Reviewer 2:

This idea is impressive. This system would express the feature of the deep sea well. But I m worried about the situation in which outside of the window is bright enough. Although there is a picture which is in that situation, I couldn t figure the image out well. In addition to, the location of the projector should be changed. It could be backside of the water screen or upside of the screen.

Reviewer 3:

I think this is a pretty good idea in its simplicity and feasibility. I definitely remember seeing sheet-water screens at resorts and places. However, I feel that your sketch model may not have been sufficient proof of concept given that scaling will not be a linear thing. Additionally, I'm not particularly impressed by the included "wow" factor of a simple water sheet screen. If you included more special effects (fountains, displays, etc.), it would be a lot more exciting.

The most recent iteration of the screen is a vast improvement from the initial one. What exactly is the foggy material that you are using? As you mentioned in your presentation, scalability will be a big issue if you decide to continue further with this concept. First is whether or not the projection to water concept will scale. Next is the issue of maintenance of the water and not splashing the guests. In the concept sketches, the shape of the viewscreen is oval-shaped. Will this work the same way when you change from the rectangular shape? Also, will it work well with the rest of the steampunk decor, as depicted in the concept sketches? With the recent iteration, you should test the viewability of certain images and scenes and test it with users to see that if it is usable/useful. As this will be used for the guests to view the data of the animals (from my understanding of the storyboard), it will be essential that the text/images are clear to the users. Overall, I like this concept of the challenge of finding the right specimen(s) while being attacked. Once the projector/waterfall aspect of the concept is figured out, then the visualization and sounds of what the guests will see will be important to figure out. In terms of the presentation of your work, I think you could have been more detailed about the process that you went through.
