Innovativeness and potential of the product idea/user experience

I think that the two-in-one coupled with user assembly could be interesting for some users, and it's a system so there is incentive to continue buying that brand. I also appreciate that the tape has a set place (when suctioned down) - less likely to misplace the spool! Maybe add a homing device on the spool to always be able to find it? I'd really like that.

Its a cool idea. At the moment portable tape dispensers are usually just the flimsy, plastic portable ones, that break easily and get discarded often. I like the suction cup idea as well. Its something I would want to have on my desk just for aesthetic reasons. That being said, you should consider how frequently people actually use tape and would need a tape dispense that is portable and for the desk top. As a college student, I have used tape only a few times, and have no need to have tape on my desk. When people need to carry around tape, it's not usually the same kind of tape you need at your desk. People keep scotch tape at their desk, but use masking tape, duck tape, or packaging tape for activities that would require moving the tape around (on boxes, or putting signs on walls, marking off a section of the floor, etc.) Moms and kids might use your idea more often, but will they just loose the portable part of the dispenser?

Nice idea but I wish it showed more. For example, can i put a handle on it so that i can use as a Mail & Ship Tape Gun, etc...

The portable vs mounted seems like a nice addition. There are a few green tapes out there but not as good as the normal ones and a little bit more expensive, a little thought in terms of acquiring the same user experience as a normal tape in terms of performance is important. Could be a big hit or a big failure depending on the product implementation but the idea is sound theoretically. Fits nicely with eco friendly office of the future.

The idea is to have make the desktop tape roll portable. This idea is neat and interesting. My question is how would the mechanical joint work, but that's not a problem. Usually, we have two tape rolls in our office, one is on the heavy desktop setup while the other one is in a plastic format, which is easy to use on the go. Maybe the next question is how to persuade people to use this combined product rather than the separated products.

I appreciate that he showed the different phases of user interaction, that was very helpful. I also like the sound effects he wrote; there was no slide that confused me.

Its very clear what your idea is. However it is not clear to me how it is eco-friendly. Is it that people will not need the cheap plastic tape dispensers that get broken and thrown away? If so, you should make that more clear.

Clear storyboard in a nicely done website. The storyboards are well thought and have a good balance of detail and "speed" of drawing i think.

The idea is clearly expressed and the website is clear and neat. Maybe if Kevin could address a problem of using two types of tape rolls, that will be much better. For example, Lily wants to tape the posters around, but there is only one desktop tape in the office. She has to carry such a big thing with her. And Amy wants to fix the paper on the table. She has one hand holding up the paper, but there is only the plastic tape roll in her office, she has to use two hand to get one tape. Maybe to tell a story of a problem first and then find the solution to this problem will make the storyboard more vivid.
