Innovativeness and potential of Monkey See, Monkey Do storyboard

Client 1:

This could be interesting if it could be pulled off. Obviously real fire is out of the question, so creating a realistic fire effect would be necessary. How do you plan to sense what the guest is doing? Machine vision? Do they need to hold positions in a certain part of the room? Do all guests need to hold positions?

Reviewer 2:

Cool atmosphere, but I'm having difficulty understanding the actual puzzles. I like the idea of having a tablet thats lit from below (presumably by a torch from the wall?), with tasks to complete. More details on the tasks are required to evaluate the potential of the room.

Reviewer 3:

It was a little difficult to understand what was happening in this game. What exactly is giving the players instructions?

Innovativeness and potential of Nature Leads the way storyboard

Client 1:

I think the usable part of this game comes down to matching the pictures. The water effect is not going to be possible as OpenWorld has a 'no water' policy. Some of the other effects are neat. Can you tie them into the gameplay?

Reviewer 2:

Really awesome environment, I can picture the scene in my head. I like the idea of glow in the dark mushrooms, but I think the puzzle could use more work though. Maybe make the puzzle more intricate, or make it more physical?

Reviewer 3:

I like the environment and the room itself. There are some interesting theme-ing ideas going on, which is cool. The gel mud, moss, and water all feel very nature-ish which I think the guests will appreciate. I think the gameplay is pretty simple though, it would be hard to imagine getting this game wrong the first few tries.

Innovativeness and potential of Tribute to the Animals storyboard

Client 1:

This idea seems a little too complex for OpenWorld. It definitely has some unique elements, but I think that overall it needs to be stripped down to essential gameplay elements and maybe one effect to be feasible and within budget.

Reviewer 2:

I like how the exit opens up slowly after each correct match. The room seems very neat, but I am concerned about how this would self-reset.

Reviewer 3:

The theme-ing of this game is also pretty cool, but like the previous one I'm not sure how fun the gameplay would be.

Storyboard design and website presentation and execution

Client 1:

The website is well laid out and clean. It is a little hard to read the written text on the storyboards. Typing may be a better option.

Reviewer 2:

Red background is distracting, and the scans could be darker - some parts were hard to read/understand. Consider typing the descriptions to improve legibility.

Reviewer 3:

The presentation and execution of your website was nice, I liked the simplicity of it. The storyboards were a little difficult to understand, I'm not sure I fully understand these games.

Room theme, Cave Adventures!: engaging and interesting? identifiable with target users?

Client 1:

I think that a cave theme is unique and exciting. It really lends itself well to the idea of exploring.

Reviewer 2:

Very good environment, that can be engaging and awe-inspiring. I think puzzles should be tougher, or be more physical than what was shown.

Reviewer 3:

I think the cave theme is cool! The cave painting motif is a nice gameplay mechanism and makes a lot of sense given your theme.
