Alumni Class Officers

Near the end of their senior year, every graduating class at MIT elects alumni class officers to serve their class between graduation and their 5th year reunion, at which point new officers are elected. The positions available for election are listed below, along with their respective responsibilities:

President: sets the tone for the class and its relationship with MIT

Vice President: plans, organizes, and implements class programs

Secretary: maintains records and communicates news about classmates through Class Notes in Technology Review

Treasurer: responsible for financial resources of the class and will serve as reunion treasurer

In addition, the Alumni Association is seeking volunteers to act as Members At Large for the Class of 2001 Executive Committee. If you are interested in either running for an elected position or serving as a Member At Large, or if you would like more information about the Alumni Class Officer positions, please email Heather Kispert in the Alumni Association (Room 12-090), or call 452-3375.

The deadline for nominations to be on the ballot is Tuesday, May 8th! Class elections will be held at the Alumni Activities Expo in Lobby 10 on Tuesday, May 15th, from 10am-4pm.
