All you have to do is email <laurita@mit.edu> and specify which type of community service work you wish to volunteer for. It can be any type of volunteering that you prefer. You will immediately be assigned your mission to change a life.
Give it a try. CHANGE A LIFE!
For more info on our next projects, visit our Web page at http://web.mit.edu/2001/community/.
This program will set up a Web site displaying the usernames of the students in each class with heavy freshman participation and where they live. If you are in a particular class, you'll be able to access the restricted-access site and see which nearby living groups have students taking that class.
We will soon be compiling the information via email, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on this valuable resource!
Random Acts of Kindness Week:
Email <abby@mit.edu> by midnight on Saturday (2/7) to receive the name of a person to do a kind act to next week—and have your name given to someone else. If the entire class participates, we'll all know each other by one degree of separation!
Hot Stuff Study Break:
What better to do on a cold Cambridge night than come get free hot refreshments and mingle with all our good lookin' classmates? (9:30-11:00 pm, Student Center Mezzanine)

I'm trying to start MIT's first four-wall/one-wall handball team, a popular sport in New York City and parts of California. I'm looking for people who would be interested in learning this racquetball-like game. No experience is necessary, and equipment will be provided. Email me, Misha Zitser, at <zeemish@mit.edu> for more information.
