Our class is made up of individuals, all unified by a common tradition-our
Brass Rat. It signifies the time we spend, the friends we make, the
obstacles we overcome, and the memories we form as a class. A single gold
band weds us to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and to each
other, commemorating our education and our ascent into independence.
Wherever our travels take us, our Brass Rat will remind us of where our
journey began and of those who have influenced us along the way. Our Brass
