We are pleased to announce the first joint conference of JLTA-New England and NECTJ. In addition to issues concerning methodology, and material development, special emphasis is placed on AP (Advanced Placement) Japanese. It is our great honor to welcome Professor Yasu-Hiko Tohsaku (University of California, San Diego) and Mr. Kin Chee (New Paltz Central High School) as guest speakers on this topic.

We have blocked some rooms at Crowne Plaza Cromwell (100 Berlin Road, Cromwell, CT 06416) for June 2nd and 3rd. Please call the reservations department with Crowne Plaza Cromwell at 800-308-4589 or 860-635-200 to reserve rooms before Friday, May 12th.  Please identify your affiliation with "Joint Conference of JLTA - New England and NECTJ) in order to receive the special room rates ($85 single or double per night, with 12% tax).  All rooms must be guaranteed by credit card or advance deposit. Transportation from the hotel on the morning of June 3rd (7:40 a.m. or 8:10 a.m.) will be provided by Wesleyan University at no charge for the participants.
