Ｉ．Ａ：　Ｐｈｒａｓｅ−Ｐａｒｔｉｃｌｅｓ： N + ○ + predicate

1.A: Is that a book in Japanese?
  B: This book?  No, it's in Chinese.
  1.A: その本、日本語ですか。
    B: この本ですか。いえ、ちゅうごく語ですよ。

2.A: Did you make that cake?
  B: This cake, you mean?  No, I bought it yesterday.
  2.A: そのケーキ、つくりましたか。
    B: このケーキですか。いえ、きのうかいましたよ。


Ｉ．Ｂ：　Ｐｈｒａｓｅ−Ｐａｒｔｉｃｌｅｓ： N + は/wa/ + predicate

1.A: Do you play tennis?
  B: Tennis?  No, I don't.
  A: What about golf?
  B: Oh, I play golf (at least) often.
  1.A: テニスしますか。
    B: テニスですか。いや、しません。
    A: じゃあ、ゴルフは？
    B: ゴルフはよくしますよ。

2. A: What is that thing (over there)?
   B: (Do you mean) that?  It's a new computer.
   A: What about that near you, then?
   B: This is a wordprocessor.

     B:あれですか。あたらしいコンピューターです。
     A:じゃあ、それは？
     B:これはワープロですよ。

3. A: Are you coming tomorrow?

2.A: Who did it?  Did you do it, Mr. Smith?
  B: I didn't do it.  Mr. Tanaka did.
  2. A:だれがしましたか。 スミスさんですか。
     B:いいえ、わたしはしませんでした。田中さんがしました。

3.A: It's Mr. Yamamoto who will come, right?
  B: No, he won't come.  Suzuki will come.  (It's Suzuki who will come.)
  3.A:山本さんが来ますね。
    B:いえ、山本さんは来ませんよ。すずきさんが来ますよ。

1. Mr. Sato often makes cake.
