-さつ ... for counting bound volumes
-まい ... for counting thin, flat objects
-本 ... for counting long, cylindrical objects

Note: The clause-particels けど and が are added to the first predicate.れい(Examples)
1.ボールペンはありますが、くろいのはありません。 There are ballpoint pens, but there aren't any black ones. 2.すみませんが、そのふろしき、みせてください。 Excuse me, but, please show me that furoshiki. 3.A:かいぎは、どうでしたか。 How was the conference? B:行きましたけど… I went, but... 4.あのかさですけど、いくらですか。 It's that umbrella, but, how much is it?
Note: Ｘも indicates "X in addition".
