"In Our Old Fields" (transducción por John Wilcox) In spite of everything,
women sing: They know that their voices console men. They give their
squalid breast, dose of milk, That helps their child survive. Many
children die from being malnourished On food, spirit, smiles or kisses.
Women weep for them and even resign themselves To deliver others who
can take their place.
