Owne®ship, Autho®ship, and the Publi©

Who owns culture?

The question may seem like a silly one, but in fact it is not. Our culture is owned by a handful of media conglomerates. It is precisely that fact that keeps them in existence.

Who authors culture?

Another silly question? No, it is increasingly more difficult (if it wasn't before) to say who or what is responsible for what we call our culture.

The Take-Home Lesson:

The exchange of Finance for Rights is the core of the Culture Industries.
