Zak McKraken tabloid: The National Inquisitor
And speaking of Zak's newspaper, your copy of the National Inquisitor that comes with the game is packed full of hints for solving the puzzles and, whilst a few of the clues are fairly obvious, others are wonderfully obscure so that reading the paper is an adventure in itself.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy packaging
Hitchhiker's Guide used the standard box format which consisted of a grey box with coloured horizontal stripes. It contained "How Many Times has This Happened to You?" - Hitchhiker's Guide sales brochure, two "Orders for Destruction" (yellow and silver), black cardboard sunglasses, a "Don't Panic!" button, some fluff (in a plastic bag), and a "microscopic space fleet" (empty plastic bag).

The Lurking Horror packaging
The Lurking Horror used the newer standard box format (much the same as the standard "book-like" box but with a slipcase containing a cardboard tray which contained all the package elements). It contained "G.U.E. at a Glance" (G.U.E. Tech guide), a G.U.E. Tech student ID card, and a red rubber centipede (between 2 sheets of clear plastic).

Zork Packaging
The re-release of Zork I used the standard box format which consisted of a grey box with coloured horizontal stripes. It contained "The GUE: A History" by Froboz Munbar, an instruction manual, and a map.
The release of the Zork Trilogy included all three Zorks, "The GUE: A History" by Froboz Munbar, a zorkmid, a map, a Bozbarland travel brochure, a Grayslopes travel brochure, a stock certificate, and a letter from the Chairman of the Board of FrobozzCo.
