After the breakup of the promising but short-lived Slapping Wrists, Dave Metropolis and Jake Roberts found themsevles writing music for a threesome. They bumped into drummer James Neil, who was excited about the ground their music was breaking. The three performed in Boston for a year before they were ready to record this album, at Neil's studio in the Berkshires. |
