Sun's still behind the hill. Good: it's not going to be too hot getting to that clearing.

Bad: mosquitoes are still out in force.

The long sleeves take care of the worst of that. Experience does the rest. Funny how your mind can blank the most annoying itch when you really need to.

You can't blank out heat though, and the sleeves aren't any help there. At least I get to ride half way out. Bringing in all this equipment into the jungle on my own is going to be a pain though.

Better not leave anything behind in the jeep. They won't be back for a while.
