I am so excited to be going away tomorrow with Leigh!
I've really been fancying a trip down to the south of Europe. And
Italy is so beautiful, there's so much to see there!
It's been a fabulous three months here in Berlin, doing our international programme at the University. I have met so many wonderful people from so many places. I really like the Americans, I'll miss them all so when this is ended. But for now! A week of traveling round on trains will be spectacular, quite the perfect experience to finish out the time. Leigh and I will have so much fun having daring adventures in Italy—we don't even know Italian. And then Leigh of course is already looking forward to meeting Rob, and Erik. Then we'll all travel together and have fun seeing the history and observing the Italian culture... cathedrals, museums, and of course discothèques! What a blast we shall have! Now I must go pack my things into one of those hiking packs—I hope it's
big enough for everything. Oh, it's late... I
wonder if Leigh is packed yet? It's only a few hours till we
need to be at the train station for the overnight towards
Italy!
