...After dealing with the too small lid I pay for my drink. I'm lucky to be able to deal with hearing as well as I do. I used to be a hearing, but something happened when I was a kid. I think about the other kids at my school as I walk into Pandemonium Books and Games. I've always loved science fiction, even though I have a hard time now checking out the newest movies in the theater. You can't read Godzilla's lips. I check out the Vampire books. It's a new game, but I haven't been able to play yet myself... |

...Some guy calls me and asks me if I can order something for him. It's a novel, but he can't remember the author or the exact title. I try to help him, but I have the feeling that I'm going to be on the phone a long time before I can get rid of him. Grr. I see some people walk in, including a kid who makes a beeline to the Vampire game section. I'm amazed how popular it is... |
