Another thing that few people besides Greg Mushroom knew about was the contents of the shaving cream canister in Greg's carry-on bag. Obviously, the secret contents was not shaving cream. In fact, the canister held a concentrated aerosol somnolent drug---enough of it to put a small room full of people to sleep.

Greg tensely reviewed his cargo as the plane took off, to avoid getting too worked up. He had the credit card, and he had phony shaving cream. He had several books, a very strange map, and, lastly and most mysteriously, a tube of lip balm.

The ominous lip balm was tucked into the chest pocket of his button-down shirt that was coming untucked in back because he was sitting so upright in his anxiety.

The plane continued to gain altitude.
