Well, it looks like that didn't work, especially considering that he left his suitcase out in the open in front of the shrub and the statue in the middle of the garden. It's OK though, because it's only Anne. She's a little shocked that Norman changed the plan and decided to come by the house, but that's fine, because they seem to need to talk anyway.

It seems that Norman is about as nervous about them meeting at the house as Anne is. OUCH! He got his leg caught on the briars in the bush, and they cut into his skin. At least they get a chance to discuss where they will be going on their holiday. Alas, Anne has to return to finish up her last minute preparations. So, she goes back into the house.

Norman then opens his suitcase, and begins displaying his new pajamas proudly to the statue. However, back behind the bush he goes as he hears someone else approaching from somewhere outside the house.
