| [Title Page] | - Addendum to the Complete Works of Phil Salad - |
This Addendum contains linked fragments of data recovered from Phil Salad's ScrapWeb note-taking system. ScrapWeb was only used by Phil Salad intermittently. He seems to have chronicled most of that portion of his life in the handheld computer organizer, but the condition of the recovered device made it impossible for the Project to retrieve more than the few linked media fragments that are presented here.
Although presented in the historically accurate HML 3.2 format, the fragments included are actually screen captures from a partially functional ScrapWeb emulator. (The emulator could never be made fully interavctive because large portions of the ScrapWeb system ROM have been irretrivably lost.) The original interface to ScrapWeb is known only from a few remaining printed marketing materials, and the propriatery front end that Phil Salad wrote for the system exists in such a fragmentary state that no one has been able to discern what its appearance was. The fragments are therefore presented in a reconstituted index that approximates the standard directory listing of a functional ScrapWeb system.
The connections between media fragments were all automatically generated by Phil Salad's Association Engine. The only change that has been made is the removal of connection to media fragments which could not be recovered.
