• Dictionary of the Khasars (or minimum of 3 hours) Start witht he Introduction and then read in any order you like.
• Bush, V. (1945). As We May Think. Atlantic Monthly. vol. 176, no. 1, pp. 641-649.

Prepare

Bring to class on paper or in hypertext examples of the following from the fiction:

• digression
• associative presentation
• juxtaposition of parallel story elements
• "framing" of one story with another

List as many examples as you can find (you may diagram if you like).

Indicate which are the most pleasing and the least pleasing of your examples. Why?
